We appreciate that one of the greatest concerns for all businesses in the current situation will be that of Cashflow. In addition to those measures that the UK Government is announcing, there are a number of additional resources available to UK SMEs to help them navigate these uncertain times. In addition to UK central Government advice for business owners, there are also a number of regional initiatives being announced for businesses in Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales. Other great sources of advice specifically around cashflow concerns can also be found at Money Advice Service and Business Debtline.


Outside of Government, there are a number of great third party websites providing more detailed advice for small businesses and business owners. The ones we recommend reading are all free to use (they do not require paid subscription, but may contain third party advertising). The website is a great source of independent, free advice on topics such as how to access the Government grants and loans recently announced by the Chancellor. The Business Survival Hub from the team at Donut is another source for free advice as is the Coronavirus Support Hub from the team at Enterprise Nation.


Finally, we appreciate that these are worrying times for everyone and that the mental health and wellbeing of all is of paramount importance. By supporting each other we should be confident that UK business will flourish again. However, for those people who may be experiencing higher levels of anxiety at present, we would encourage them to look at the support guides from our great NHS service.
